July Fulfilled: Notes from the Amitabha Group Practice
On the final weekend of July 2025, under clear skies, Mituo Village in North America held its last group practice session of the month. Despite the summer heat, the monastery remained filled with purity and serenity. Many Dharma brothers gathered together, chanting Amitabha’s name in unison under the compassionate guidance of the teacher, cultivating pure karma. The sound of the Buddha’s name echoed throughout the temple, bringing clarity and peace to body and mind, free from worldly distractions.

Beyond the solemn joy of the chanting, countless warm-hearted efforts unfolded behind the scenes. Many Dharma brothers volunteered in the kitchen, braving the heat to prepare delicious vegetarian lunches, supporting the temple with sweat and joyful dedication. The teacher not only guided the cultivation but also personally ensured every detail was cared for, so all participants could complete their practice with coolness and Dharma bliss.

Such a group practice is not only about inner concentration through chanting, but also a reflection of the unity and dedication of volunteers who quietly support the Dharma field. The power of their vows and wholesome actions brought a special sense of calm and fulfillment to this summer day.
Gratitude to every Dharma brother who offered their support. May the merit of this day’s practice be dedicated to all sentient beings in the Dharma realm—enhancing blessings and wisdom, together reaching the other shore.
