A Gentle Breeze After the Start of Autumn

A Gentle Breeze After the Start of Autumn — Cultivating Together in the Spirit of Amitabha

As the first days after Li Qiu (the start of autumn) arrive, the summer heat gently recedes. On the first cultivation day of August 2025, under a clear and sunny sky, the community gathered in harmony.

Within and around Mituo Village North America, a serene and dignified atmosphere filled the air. Guided by the Venerable Master, everyone joined together from morning until night, reciting the Buddha’s name and cultivating the Pure Land path. The sound of Amitabha’s name echoed without pause throughout the temple, gently guiding and inspiring all hearts.

Yet, behind this peaceful scene are countless silent acts of devotion.
Before the session began, some Dharma brothers and sisters worked tirelessly to prepare every detail.
Some polished the main hall’s glass until it gleamed, making the Buddha Hall more radiant and dignified.
Some trimmed the lawns to keep the temple grounds fresh and inviting.
Some painted images of Guanyin along the walls, adding beauty and sacred presence to the surroundings.
Others repaired equipment, replaced kitchen facilities for the comfort of all, and tended to the fine details of the hall so that the practice could unfold in a clean and tranquil space.

These unseen contributions are the foundation of the temple’s purity and the success of each gathering.
Every drop of sweat is the living practice of the Bodhisattva’s path.
Every quiet effort is the Dharma manifesting in our world.

🌸 A Special Invitation 🌸
We warmly welcome friends from all directions to join our upcoming Intensive Seven-Day Amitabha Recitation Retreat, from September 14–20, 2025, led by Venerable Master Shangde Xiayi at Mituo Village North America (343 Conrad Rd, Alburtis, PA 18011).
